Brent Canfield
Founder & CEO
Brent Canfield’s commitment to protection began with a 12-year career in the United States Marine Corps. A veteran of three tours of duty, Brent’s expertise was forged through diverse Military Occupational Specialties (MOS), serving as a Combat Engineer, Field Wireman, and Primary Marksmanship Instructor for the 1st Marine Division.
His tactical precision was recognized early; in 2002, Sgt. Canfield took 1st place in the 1st Marine Division Crew Served Weapons Competition. By 2003, during Operation Iraqi Freedom, he served as a Security Team Combat Platoon Sergeant, leadng QRF forces and providing vital convoy and foot-mobile security for Regimental Combat Teams.
The 2013 Boston Marathon bombing served as a turning point. Witnessing the mayhem inflicted on American citizens, Brent recognized a critical gap in public safety and dedicated his full-time attention to a better solution: SentryPODS (Protective Overt Deployable Surveillance). Combining his training in clandestine operations with technical ingenuity, he designed a rapidly deployable system to prevent acts of theft, vandalism, and violence. During this development phase in 2016, Brent continued his high-level security work by providing executive protection for Presidential Candidate Dr. Ben Carson.
SentryPODS Today, as CEO of SentryPODS in Ashland, Ohio, Brent has successfully converted his tactical background into technical expertise. By merging years of combat-tested experience with cutting-edge surveillance technology, Brent and his team provide industries with a preventative shield, continuing his lifelong mission of protecting people, property, and the community.
Megan Schemrich
VP of Operations
Megan Schemrich is VP of Operations at SentryPODS. Megan has had careers in technology management and financial management. Having worked 16 years in the Customer Service field, she is an experienced specialist in customer relationships. As VP of Operations, Megan is responsible for employee coordination, promoting a positive culture, and helping run SentryPODS. Her inventiveness, constructive mindset, and personality are supportive. Megan has a passion for animals and loves her lab puppy Manny. Megan is a valued employee at SentryPODS.

Shannon Canfield
Accounts Receivable Specialist
Shannon manages the accounts receivable process by monitoring aging reports and investigating outstanding invoices to ensure every client receives and processes their billing accurately. She also meets regularly with our Board of Directors and stakeholders to review account health, manage write-offs, and maintain financial transparency.
Jen Reddix
Administrative Coordinator
Jen manages essential business operations, including payroll, billing, and the complex logistics of scheduling transport for all equipment purchases and leases. She also oversees the contract and work order process, ensuring that every new project is accurately documented and invoiced.
